Summer of Taqsim 2026 — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the Taqasim Summer Intensive 2026 (“Event”), an in-person event created and facilitated by Maya Youssef (“Facilitator,” “Maya,” or “Mentor”).
By purchasing a ticket or enrolling in the Event, you (“Participant” or “You”) agree to the following terms.
1. Event Details
The Taqasim Summer Intensive is a live, in-person event taking place on:
- Dates: 18–20 July 2026
- Format: In-person only (including the VIP Day, where applicable)
- Location: Royal Academy of Music in London
Attendance requires your physical presence at the event location. No virtual attendance, live stream, or replay access is included unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
All payments for the Taqasim Summer Intensive are final and non-refundable.
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that:
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Illness
- Travel disruptions
- Visa issues
- Personal emergencies
- Changes in personal or professional circumstances
This policy exists due to fixed venue, staffing, and production costs associated with live events.
3. Your Responsibility as a Participant
By attending the Event, you agree to:
- Arrive on time and participate respectfully
- Take full responsibility for your own wellbeing, travel arrangements, accommodation, and insurance
- Behave in a way that supports a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment
Maya reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials, teachings, demonstrations, frameworks, recordings (if any), and content shared during the Event are the intellectual property of Maya Youssef.
You agree that:
- Content is for personal learning only
- You may not record, copy, share, teach, distribute, or repurpose any part of the Event without written permission
5. Results Disclaimer
While the Event is designed to provide high-level teaching and immersive musical experience, results are not guaranteed.
By attending, you acknowledge that:
- Your experience and outcomes depend on your engagement and application
- Maya does not promise specific results or transformations
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction in those courts.
